University of Southern California’s (USC) Rossier School of Education announced the seventh cohort if its Education Technology Accelerator, which helps edtech entrepreneurs improve their solutions, accelerate growth, and increase impact.

USC said it has accepted 16 companies that operate in all education sectors – K-12, higher ed, and workforce learning – into the latest cohort. The companies are Rainbow Chefs Academy, Aicelsior, RightOn Education, Knowalla, Sagax.ai, Emancipation Group, Rhymes with Reason, YouROK Corp., General Genomics, Careerfully, Math-A-Matics Tutoring, LUGA UP, Musa, Sara Technology, Sertifier, and Excuela.

“We are thrilled to welcome the seventh cohort of Edtech entrepreneurs to the Accelerator program and we look forward to helping this talented group accelerate the growth of their businesses and continue to meaningfully impact learning outcomes,” said Mark DeGennaro, managing director of the Edtech Accelerator.

Established in 2018, the accelerator supports education solutions with high potential to improve the quality and equity of education, from early childhood through adult learning. The fully virtual program does not charge tuition or take equity from participating companies.

As part of the accelerator, entrepreneurs have access to USC faculty and the university’s network of industry participants, advisors, and mentors. The program provides a combination of operational and technical assistance, business strategy, product roadmap development/refinement, and access to participants in the education ecosystem.

“We are very excited to welcome these innovators to the USC Rossier family and to help support their work to promote educational excellence and equity,” said USC Rossier Dean Pedro Noguera. “This is important work, and USC is proud to champion it.”
