State government CIOs are set to explain the latest strategies and tactics for automating government to improve service delivery and cybersecurity at MeriTalk’s State Tech Vision virtual event on September 27.
The one-hour discussion will begin at 11 a.m. and features two sessions moderated by MeriTalk’s Senior Advisor-Government Programs John Thomas Flynn, who served as state CIO for California and Massachusetts, and is a past president of the National Association of State Chief information Officers (NASCIO).
During the first session on Service Delivery and Automation, Wyoming state CIO Bill Vajda and Andrew Graf, Chief Product Officer at TeamDynamix, will talk about how states can put automation to work to improve delivery of services to citizens, and take advantage of still-emerging technologies including artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The second session will feature Indiana state CIO Tracy Barnes who will discuss automation in the context of improving cybersecurity. State and local governments continue to be frequent targets of ransomware attacks, and the discussion will include the use of artificial intelligence and other advances to help government tilt the playing field against threat actors.
If you can spend an hour with us on September 27 at State Tech Vision, we’ll match that investment of time with expert views on state government automation that will pay dividends well into the future.
Please register today, and we will see you on the 27th.
