Pamela McLeod – a prominent cybersecurity official in academia – has been named chief information security officer (CISO) for the state of New Hampshire.
She succeeds Ken Weeks, who became state CISO in 2022.
McLeod spent the last two-plus years as director of cybersecurity at ACT, which develops college readiness assessment tests.
The incoming CISO said in an April 16 LinkedIn post that she is “honored” to return to public service.
“New Hampshire does public sector cybersecurity very collaboratively” she continued, adding, “It is our superpower, and I am excited to be part of it!”
Prior to joining ACT, McLeod was CISO and director of technology at the Concord School District in Concord, N.H.
