The University of Vermont is entering the fall 2026 semester with expanded wireless infrastructure, new IT governance structures, artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives, and technology modernization projects, according to Chief Information Officer (CIO) Kellie Campbell.

Indiana University (IU) reorganized its central IT organization into five divisions focused on artificial intelligence (AI), data, digital services, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational efficiency, university technology leadership announced on July 13.

The University of Arizona has made some major IT investments over the past year, and those are only going to grow under its new IT strategy set to launch early next year, the university interim chief information officer said, pointing to improved IT service delivery wins.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has appointed Manny Barreras as cabinet secretary of the Department of Information Technology (DoIT), effective Sept. 9.
