The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) announced that it has launched the Comprehensive Online Regulatory Environment (CORE), a new online licensing system, for the first set of IDFPR-licensed professionals.

The Office of the Illinois Secretary of State – in partnership with the Illinois Supreme Court’s Commission on Access to Justice and The Chicago Bar Foundation – launched a new pilot utilizing local libraries’ technology to improve court access.

Thanks to a new piece of legislation being signed into law, the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) will be able to use a competitive, expedited process to identify and implement a new professional licensing system.
