The Biden-Harris Administration announced $277 million in grant funding to advance educational equity and innovation through the Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant program.

The Biden administration today announced how it will distribute more than $42 billion in Federal funding to expand high-speed internet access nationwide, commencing the largest-ever campaign to help an estimated 8.5 million families and small businesses obtain access to affordable broadband services.

The Biden-Harris Administration is crediting the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed by Congress last November for helping more than 10 million households to enroll the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) broadband affordability program.
