As flu season gets underway, the Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) has launched the My Healthy Community (MHC) flu dashboard. The dashboard shares weekly and seasonal data on positive cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and, for the first time, vaccinations in the state.

New research from Lookout finds that mobile threats affecting Federal, state, and local governments are on the rise. Lookout, a provider of endpoint-to-cloud security, said that mobile phishing and device vulnerability risks within government agencies has increased since 2021.

New York state is challenging the accuracy of the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) broadband data and has submitted more than 31,000 unserved or underserved addresses from across the state under the FCC’s Broadband Data Collection challenge process.

In a bid to improve internet access for underserved households, the Maryland Board of Public Works approved a contract of up to $30 million for the Office of Statewide Broadband to provide laptops for an estimated 150,000 underserved households in the state. While many colleges across the country have rolled out autonomous robots to help deliver food and supplies to students across their campuses, the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) is taking a slightly different approach to delivery robots. Before rolling out a robot delivery network on the campus in 2023, researchers at the university will use a fleet of robots to understand and improve the experience of pedestrians who encounter the robots.
