Salesforce announced $27 million in new education grants on Sept. 14, including $18 million for public school districts in five cities to support student career readiness, teacher development, and artificial intelligence (AI) education.

A new initiative – Upskill Together – is aiming to help universities and employers expand access to “high-demand, industry-recognized technology credentials” both for corporate and educational partners, and with scholarships for groups that are underrepresented in the tech sector.

The Cherokee Nation has tapped Salesforce to help the tribal nation distribute $785 million in COVID-19 Federal relief funds from the American Rescue Plan.
